Birth Hypnosis Series
$425 per couple
The Birth Hypnosis Series teaches a program that orchestrates “The Wisdom of the Body, The Power of the Mind” to experience a joyous, pain-less, comfortable birth in just 5 sessions. The class includes our free introductory workshop where you learn what hypnosis is and how it works; and two individual sessions.

Natural Childbirth Refresher and Sibling Preparation
$250 per couple
This workshop is designed to refresh and support 2nd and 3rd time expectant parents as they make the transition into being a larger family. This class prepares, supports and resources parents to give birth naturally to another child while preparing the family for the entry of a new sibling.This workshop is a two day workshop. The first 4 hour day, if your children are older than 1 year old, please try to find childcare for them. The second 4 hour day, you are encouraged to bring your children as this class will be as much for them as it is for you and your partner. We will be reading some sibling books with the kids and watching a couple of birth videos with them. We will also have an activity to do with them. If you are unable to find childcare for the first day, please let us know so that we might be able to support you.
This workshop will cover such topics as: Supporting yourself and your kids in post partum period; Healthy habits for the whole family; Sexuality and Contraception in post partum; Tandem nursing and lactation refresher; Sibling preparation, transitions and rivalry.

Meet the Doulas Monthly Event
FREE
A doula is a great way to empower your birth and/or postpartum experience. Whether you are birthing in the hospital, birth center or at home, having a doula to support your choices through your journey into parenthood. This event is an opportunity for new parents to find out more about what having a birth or postpartum doula will provide for them while also giving them the opportunity to find the right doula for them.

The Sanctuary’s Classes
Save A Little Life - Infant CPR Class
$70 per individual / $125 per couple
The course’s goal is to prepare parents & care providers for the most unlikely of
events. As a result, the focus is on simplicity of action to increase the likelihood
of a good outcome in a potential health crisis. Although it follows the guidelines
of the American Heart Association, it is not rigid in it’s approach. You will have
plenty of “hands on” time with a life-like mannequin in simulated emergency situations
and, with our guidance, be able to respond in a helpful way.

Baby Basics - Baby Care Class
$85 per couple
In this baby care workshop you will learn how to use your five senses to meet and
welcome your baby at birth. You’ll learn how to recognize your baby’s unique language
and how to talk back to your baby. You’ll explore the wonderful world of babies and
will learn the basics like diapering and bathing, cord care and baby's healthy appearance.
Partners will learn how to hold the baby in different positions and how to become
baby soothing experts. You’ll explore day-time and night-time rituals, confidence
building, and baby games.
Taught by Guiditta Tornetta, certified birth & post-partum doula, lactation educator, a certified clinical hypnotherapist, a NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) practitioner, and a certified shiatsu therapist.
Infant Massage
$100 per couple
Infant massage constitutes a continuation of the caressing received in the womb. Come learn how to enhance all aspects of your infant’s well being by continuing this loving touch through infant massage. You will learn to give your baby a full-body massage as well as special techniques for relief of gas, colic, and calming fussy babies. Positive physical contact makes babies feel loved and valued, thereby allowing self-esteem and confidence to develop. Research shows that babies that are massaged regularly are healthier, cry less often, and sleep more soundly

Parent Support
New Mom’s Weekly Support Group
$10 donation per individual
This group is open to mothers and their babies as well as pregnant moms-to-be. We
celebrate attachment-style parenting and gather to learn and support each other on
a weekly basis.

New Dad’s Monthly Support Group - TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE

This monthly group creates a space for fathers to connect, gain support, and explore what it means to be a father. Fathers group issues include but are not limited to balancing work with family, being emotionally present, feelings of isolation during an intense time of bonding with mother and infant, feelings of loss and isolation due to working long hours, how to not become a father on the outside of the family, our own father issues and unresolved childhood themes, and how to keep the love alive with your partner. Hopefully, some lasting friendships with other men, as often as men we ignore friendships with work and family.

Breastfeeding Class
$85 per couple
This class is great preparation for breastfeeding your baby. You will learn how to breastfeed successfully, how to include your partner in the breastfeeding experience, breast pumps & bottles, and going back to work while you breastfeed. You will have all your breastfeeding questions and concerns answered by our experienced lactation consultant, Kim Durdin.
Taught by Kimberly Durdin, IBCLC and Parent Educator.
Classes are limited to 6 couples to provide intimate,
community-building lessons. Private classes are also available.
